How Did This Get Made?

Episode 26 - Jingle All The Way

Listen to the episode here.

Paul Scheer, Jason Mantzoukas, and June Diane Raphael take a look at classic movies. But not the kind of classic that the Academy honors. The kind of classic that makes you wonder: "How did this get made?"

This week, they are joined by Joe Mande as they dissect the Schwartznegger/Sinbad Christmas classic "Jingle All The Way." Topics include: Arnold's convincing performance as a terrible father, Sinbad choking a woman, Arnold punching a reindeer, who Sinbad's part was originally meant for and more.

The Joe Rogan Experience

http://blog.joerogan.net/archives/3983

Aubrey Marcus from Onnit labs is in the house and we get right down to it. The government is ripping up the Bill of Rights and preparing to suppress an uprising of its own citizens with the passage of the NDAA, but will American soldiers fire on their own countrymen? What has happened to our Constitution since 9/11? What is the future of the Occupy movement? How are Wall Street bankers unable to fail? WTF is going on in North Korea? General Wesley Clark's quote about the countries Rumsfeld said we would overthrow in the weeks after 9/11. Why do we value gold? And that is just the first 45 minutes.

RIP Patrice O'Neal

It has been a little while since my last post. I'm not sure why it hasn't really felt appropriate to write until now, but we're back. Unfortunately, since the last time we spoke, the world has lost another comedy giant. Along with the losses of Greg Giraldo and Mike DiStefano, the death of Patrice O'Neal came suddenly and much too soon.

Enough has been written and said about Patrice by people who knew him, that there is really nothing much I can add. If you would like to check out his comedy and support his family, please buy his new album, Mr. P.

Ladies and Gentlemen, give it up for Patrice O'Neal...
